Led by senior leaders and championed by its CEO and Executive Group, the MetlLfe's Global Women's Initiative seeks to increase representation of women in leadership roles by:

Excellent programs 

  • Global Women's Leadership Forum, an annual internal leadership conference attended by top senior women leaders, that focuses on helping our businesses to better understand and incorporate women’s needs and values as customers. 
  • Developing Women's Career Experience, a nomination-based 14-month program to help prepare emerging women leaders for more complex leadership roles and broader experiences.  
  • Women's Business Networks (WBNs), comprising MetLife employees focused on fostering a global community where all women thrive through career development and engagement activities. WBNs also partner with MetLife businesses to provide resources for and insights about women in the workplace, marketplace and community.

Lee, Esther - Executive Vice President, Global Chief Marketing Officer

Esther Lee is MetLife's Global Chief Marketing Officer and is a member of the company's executive team. Lee joined MetLife in 2015 and is responsible for managing all aspects of global marketing, the global brand and the customer journey. Lee and her team lead a strategic, customer-focused marketing practice across the globe that drives business growth.

Podlogar, Susan - Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer

Susan Podlogar is MetLife’s Chief Human Resources Officer. She is an Executive Vice President and a member of the company’s Executive Group. She joined MetLife in July 2017 and oversees its global Human Resources strategies and practices with the goal of attracting, developing and retaining a workforce that creates value for MetLife customers and shareholders every day.
