The Amazon Profiler team has the responsibility to make the tools and services to ensure Amazon's software engineering team makes the most efficient and effective use of their compute resources. We help our customers by continually reducing the cost of our platforms through increased efficiency. Our users are the Amazon software engineering teams in all locales around the world. As a member of the team, you will play a key role in improving Amazon's software engineering. You will solve technical challenges in large webscale computing, distributed systems, optimization, scalability, availability and algorithms to name a few. You will work with technical teams to translate their needs into cutting-edge systems that meet challenging business and technical goals.

· A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
· Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, big "O" analysis and designing for performance, scalability and availability
· Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a clear commitment to making Amazon a great place to work
· Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to have fun!

· An MBA or Masters in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
· Hands-on expertise in performance optimization of large distributed systems.
· Hands-on expereince in high transaction and low latency systems.
