Join Thales Alenia Space as a Propulsion Engineer, to deliver the next generation of space systems we are growing our propulsion engineering capability. The Propulsion Engineer will participate in design and development for new projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for proposals of work and have a major contribution for establishing the subsystem architecture, the development and qualification plan as well as the specification of the components. This role will also interface with the Program Management Office and other subsystems including attitude control, data handling, electrical power, structure and thermal control.

Key Responsibilities
Establishing Propulsion system technical requirement definition.
Delivering technical documents for proposals and reviews
Providing technical expertise for follow up of equipment development and deliveries including fluidics, LAE and thrusters
Delivering technical expertise for follow up of assembly line qualification and delivery of subassemblies, assemblies.

Skills, qualifications and experience
Chemical / Electric Propulsion experience is essential
Experience of working in a multi-discipline team environment
Experience of R&D projects, satellites studies & developments
Experience in Space domain, Scientific/Telecom satellites
Experience in hardware projects in phases B/C/D.
