About the Business Line Program, Cost, Consultancy
We provide cost and project management services, and specialist consultancy services, to public- and private-sector clients around the world, with a strong presence in Africa, Australia and New Zealand, Europe, the Middle East and the United States.

Job Summary
The London office are looking fopr an R & D Manager to join the Fiscal Incentives team.

This individual will be an integral member of the R&D Team focusing on identifying and winning work and the successful service delivery for existing and future client engagements. This includes the provision of support to the R&D Tax Director in respect of support with deliverables and Client interaction as well as support in technical client presentations.
It will involve strategic thinking, discussion with and education of the technical teams within the business. It will also entail the working up of processes and efficient & effective delivery of the claims. The role is a mixed role with emphasis on a technical/ scientific background.
You will also be required to:
Work with the engagement team to develop claim methodologies and prepare R&D tax relief claims for submission to HMRC (manage technical aspects of client engagement)

Identify, agree and target client opportunities to build a robust pipeline of future work

Draft proposals and assist with bids and client presentations

Draft technical collateral and assist with thought leadership

Minimum Requirements
Solid experience in R&D tax credits and additional relevant engineering sector experience
Good technical understanding of UK tax legislation
Good IT skills
Good communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to work with minimal supervision as part of broader national team
The ability to work to tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications Degree in a related field
