We seek an outstanding Business Intelligence Manager to be part of the EU Softlines Marketplace team (Amazon Fashion). The BI Manager will be based in our Central London office reporting into the Head of Seller Services for UK Softlines.

This role is directly involved in a new, exciting strategic project in Amazon Fashion with senior, worldwide visibility.

Key responsibilities include:

Data engineering:
· Be a SQL guru and an Excel super-star, and support the commercial and product teams on these tools including the provision of 'office hours’.
· Maintain and enhance existing ETL jobs (Extract Transform & Load) from the data warehouse to help commercial teams monitor their performance.
· Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.
· Automate processes to capture and flow a wide range of data resources.
Data analysis:
· Design data analytics and dashboards to measure progress against key commercial and financial goals.
· Support business, product and Finance teams with ad-hoc data requests and analytical needs.


· 2+ years experience in data enginnering / business intelligence
· Strong academic background combined with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other related discipline.
· Expertise in SQL, SQL tuning, and ETL development.
· Excellent knowledge of data warehousing principles and reporting.
· Advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office desktop applications.
· Keen interest in acquiring an advanced knowledge of Oracle, Redshift, and Tableau.

· Master’s degree is preferred - Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
· Highly organized, able to prioritize and work to tight deadlines.
· Able to build positive business relationships and work collaboratively.
· Passionate about scalable and future-proof processes, systems and data analytics.
