We are seeking an experienced operational biased manager for the role of Process Planning Manager, this will be to support our Pick Up operations for Ship With Amazon. The successful candidate will be part of the UK team responsible for implementing and launching Pick Up operations on a large scale in the AMZL network, working across functional areas such as Sort, Transport and First / Last mile, you will define and own projects to ensure our processes within Pick Up enable us to achieve our overall input and out put goals. Programs will include partnering Retail to improve customer experience for our sellers at point of pick up, new technology integration and launch, whilst also working cross functionally with Supply Chain, Transportation, Engineering & Infrastructure, and ACES.

They will be a natural self-starter who is comfortable supporting large, complex cross functional projects. They will have a true hands-on approach, strong project management skills, and be an effective communicator. This position involves regular communication with senior management on status, risks and change control.

· Create processes that utilize and optimize the Pick Up resources, focusing on improving the inputs & outputs of Ship with Amazon transportation business
· Work closely with a number of stakeholders within Amazon Logistics Operations, Project Managers and Retail teams to understand business requirements. Identify and scope technical aspects required to enable the execution of the upcoming business requirements and initiatives in a timely manner.
· Review current processes, analyzing and completing deep dives on their effectiveness. Reviewing these with leadership teams and completing narrative documents with your findings and proposals.
· Plan and co-ordinate the development needed to effect Pick Up Operations working closely with both Product teams and Software teams by aligning dependencies and deliver at stipulated deadlines.
· Take complete ownership of the Process Planning for Pick Up Operations for Ship With Amazon within Amazon Logistics in the UK.
· Demonstrate expertise in working to tight deadlines and ensure that all parties are providing key information on time to enable timely execution.
· Lead periodical audits and reviews of processes ensuring intended operational effect are in place.
· Develop the Pick Up network by identifying new opportunities for cost reduction or experience improvements and implementation of same.


· Bachelors Degree
· Experience of working within a logistics, transportation or parcels environment
· 2+ years in field process engineering
· Customer focus and professional demeanor.
· Organizational skill and an operations mindset.
· An ability and interest in working in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment.
· A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
· Experience leading and interacting with cross-functional teams
· Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

· Ability to travel in the UK
· Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Access/other Database
· Fluent in written and spoken English


· Expertise defining complex SQL queries
· MBA, MS or MA (Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Mathematics or Equivalent
