Portfolio Health Associate, UK Seller Lending

Amazon is looking for a motivated, analytical, and personable Portfolio Health Associate (PHA) to join our UK Amazon Lending team. He or she will have the responsibility of actively monitoring and assisting Amazon third party merchants with outstanding loans from Amazon Lending. This will involve deep analysis and frequent interaction with customers and internal stakeholders via phone and email to problem solve and provide support for merchants who are facing financial and business challenges. Moreover, this role will seek to increase recoveries through collections treatments for merchants who default on their loans.

The position requires an individual who can work autonomously in a fast paced, highly demanding, and often ambiguous environment, while maintaining attention to detail. A successful candidate will be able to keenly investigate, think creatively, and develop and deliver solutions for our merchants which exceed expectations.

This role will report into the UK Seller Lending Portfolio Health Manager and is based in London.

The mission of Amazon Lending is to accelerate the growth of small businesses that operate on Amazon by providing access to working capital. We believe we are in a unique position to serve our customers by leveraging very large datasets in new ways and we are now doubling down to expand the program across business verticals and geographies.

Monitor performance – monitoring of UK Seller Loan Portfolio for merchant sales performance and policy adherence to assist at-risk or delinquent merchants.

Communicate with customers – requires strong Customer Obsession in problem-solving and collections communication with third party merchants.

Improve processes – work with internal teams to understand the systems and variables that affect credit management decisions, and drive improvements in the logic, tools and processes, with emphasis on automating tasks that are currently performed manually.

· High standard of education
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

· Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to recognize non-obvious patterns

· Ability to interpret key financial statements/information
· Experience in collections, customer service, or banking
