We are looking for an experienced and driven Learning Manager UK Sort Centers (m/f) to be based from our site in one of our Sort Center in United Kingdom.

As a key member of the management team you will be involved in daily operations and responsible for driving the network’s training standards. As part of an international team, you will have the opportunity to partner with peer Learning Managers to identify and implement better ways to train our Associates.
· Lead and develop a team of L&D Associates and Trainers situated in UK Sort Center network.
· Act as a learning business partner for the network’s site operations teams.
· Work closely with and report to the network’s regional Learning & Development Manager.
· Support content design and evaluate training to improve learning experiences.
· Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure training aids reflect safe behaviors and standard operating procedures.
· Create personal development plans for L&D Trainers and Specialists.
· Manage network training plans to ensure training is delivered to required standards.
· Provide a safe, high quality and standardised onboarding experience for new-hire Associates and continually focus on improving learning curve results.
· Partner with HR and Safety teams to ensure all mandatory training is delivered within set timescales.
· Partner with operations and HR to develop high performing Associates.
· Provide feedback to operations and drive process improvements.
· Track and analyse the impact of training processes.
· Support design of new training materials to continually improve network learning experiences.
· Support and implement changes based on Kaizen process improvement.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
· Fluency in verbal and written English.
· A willingness to travel to different UK and EU site locations 40% – 60% of the time.
· Experience analysing and reporting on performance based data.
· Experience designing and developing training content including instructor-led materials, job aids and other training content.
· Experience developing and implementing effective knowledge and skill assessments for a work environment.
· Ability to apply adult learning principles and incorporate this into curriculum design and development.
· Technical aptitude to be able to quickly learn new technologies and to design, develop and review learning solutions and content.
· Experience leading or managing teams to implement plans and achieve objectives.
· Experience working in an international distribution, manufacturing or production environment, preferably having held responsibility for training activities.
· Demonstrated experience of developing and implementing large scale plans.
· Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously.
· Ability to perform and make key decisions in ambiguous situations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Background in adult learning theory/course facilitation would be beneficial.
· Good understanding of MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel) and HR information systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) would be advantageous
· Experience in launching new Logistic Centers
· Experience working on projects with a geographically dispersed team
· Experience in Human Resources and/or Organisational Development
· Fluency in (one of these in addition to proficiency in English) German, Spanish or French
