Amazon is looking for an exceptionally talented Instock Manager with relentless focus on building up the earth’s greatest Fashion consumer shopping experience – featuring relevant products from relevant brands, unique selection, innovative service, & more compelling content than any store, online or off!

The role is based in Amazon’s European headquarters for EU Sports Shoes in London, reporting to the Head of Instock Management EU Sports Shoes. The official title for this role is Sr Instock Manager, Instock Management.

Your professional challenge:

· Deliver maximum product availability in the EU Sports Shoes category within budgeted inventory targets through effective end-to-end management of the supply chain for selected top vendors across Europe.
· Work with vendor managers, product managers and other team members on expanding selection, executing promotional campaigns, and optimizing sourcing.
· Partner with local Vendor Management and In-stock Management teams to understand the market needs and implement a European strategy to manage the local inventory
· Work in close connection with the central Planning & In-stock management team to test and introduce new tools and processes
· Drive system/process improvements working with technical teams, vendor operations, and inventory management.
· Prepare and analyze financial metrics to improve efficiency and assist with in-stock management, inventory replenishment, overstock inventory decisions, and operations processes.
· Be a leader beyond the EU Sports Shoes category by giving user input to engineering teams across Amazon as they work to continuously improve systems and processes necessary for efficiency and growth.
· Manage large scale catalogue selection, be solution-oriented & able to integrate strong and clear data analysis and business rationale into sound decision making.
· Manage multiple projects – prioritizing, planning and delegating appropriate tasks.
· Be a passionate category and customer advocate within Amazon


1. Professional experience in operations, inventory planning, demand forecasting, and/or product life cycles.
2. Must have a proven track record in taking ownership, driving results and moving with speed to implement ideas in a fast-paced online environment.
3. Highly analytical, flexible, action and results oriented, self-starter, comfortable with computer databases and tools.
4. An effective communicator working with some of Amazon’s most important partners and vendors, as well as with internal teams.
5. Ability to operate clearly in an ambiguous environment; strong ability to influence.
6. Possesses strong analytical and numerical skills, advanced Excel user well-versed in Macros, V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.
7. Excellent English skills
8. University degree required ideally in a technical or analytical discipline.


1. Cross functional experience, especially finance, marketing or supply chain.
2. Excellent knowledge of Excel and database work, with experience in SQL as a plus
3. MBA from leading business school beneficial.
4. Commercial experience of the EU Sports Shoes category
5. Proficient in either French or German
