Senior Network Engineer
To support business operations by maintaining, project managing, designing and implementing infrastructure services bases on data and voice platforms and systems.

1) Network Support, Design, and Technical Implementation.
2) System Support including problem resolution, recovery, information & documentation
3) Project Management – business and IT coordination, HO reports.
4) New deployments including testing, upgrades, information sharing & documentation
5) Supporting Audits (Internal, External, HO) and Information Security requirements

• Tasks, reports and information sharing are completed with relevant IT Teams in a timely manner
• Service Desk calls for critical business issues are resolved in a timely manner
• Implementations result in successful business operations.
• Information sharing with Management, IT and Business staff is applied effectively to facilitate projects and problem resolution/escalation.
• Effective working with team colleagues

• Extensive years experience in managing and maintaining high availability Cisco networks
• Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic team environment
• Financial sector or equivalent experience in large global professional services organisations
• An understanding of working across multiple regions within a global organisation and the challenges of working with various time zones, language and cultural differences
• Experience in Service Management with specific focus on change, incident and capacity management
• Network architecture and design
• Attention to detail and an ability to produce and maintain complex network schematics and generate professional documentation such as design briefs, process documents and audit reports
• Experience in working on large scale projects and working with project teams providing technical guidance in planning phases and hands-on implementation
• Advanced BGP and EIGRP configuration and troubleshooting
• Route redistribution and a deep level of understanding of routing metrics and ACL's
• Advanced Layer 2 switching for campus and data centre environments
• Quality of Service (CBWFQ, PQ, Hierarchical QoS)
• Network Management and Authentication:
• Cisco Prime Infrastructure
• SNMP, Syslog, Netflow, Monitor and packet capturing and analysis, IP SLA and Configuration Management
Cisco Device and Endpoint Security including AAA (ACS / ISE), TACACS, 802.1x, GNAC

• Cisco Nexus and Catalyst Multi Layer Switching
• Cisco ISR and ASR platforms
• Cisco Enterprise Wireless Networks (associated management, encryption and authentication systems)
• Cisco ASA for IPSec DMVPN and firewall configurations
• Cisco certifications (minimum current CCNP and CCDP in routing and switching)
Relevant university or equivalent college degree relevant to the industry and job function

• Current passport with no restrictions for travel throughout EMEA
• Must cover the production coverage hours of 7am to 6pm on a shift pattern with colleagues to ensure services are maintained with no downtime. Out of hours support on an on-call basis will also be required.
