What you’ll be doing

Through our higher apprenticeship you’ll be making the most of your talents, getting to understand the IT industry from the ground up; and doing so with the help of a leading global organisation.
As an IT apprentice you will spend the first 12-15 months studying towards the Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Systems and Networking. Upon successful completion you will progress onto the Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship for a further 24 months. Throughout the 3 year programme you will be working within the IS function, as an IT apprentice.

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are motivated, committed and keen to learn. A self-starter who is able to manage their time, show initiative and has a genuine interest in finance and Thales. Whilst you will be fully supported to undertake and complete your studies, this programme does require a personal commitment of study in your own time. Successful candidates will show self-discipline and an aspiration to achieve the CIMA qualification.

You will also need
5 GCSEs at Grade A-C or Level 5 and above, including Maths and English
3 A Levels Grade A-C ideally in a relevant discipline
Right to Work in the UK for the duration of the programme

In line with Thales' Baseline Security requirements, candidates will be asked to provide evidence of identity, eligibility to work in the UK and employment and/or education history for up to three years. Some vacancies may require full Security Clearance which can require further evidence to be provided.
