As a senior Business Change Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring projects/change initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. You will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. Your primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximise employee adoption and minimise resistance. You will work to drive faster adoption and greater proficiency of the changes that impact people in the organisation, to increase benefit realisation.

Key Responsibilities
• Identify the required change management activities on projects
• Identify and manage stakeholders
• Engage and support sponsors and senior leaders
• Assess the change impact
• Complete change management assessments
• Identify and manage anticipated resistance
• Develop innovative, creative and engaging approaches to communications
• Lead training efforts
• Evaluate and ensure user readiness
• Lead the change transition
• Coordinate business change efforts with other specialists
• Support organisational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
• Contribute to creating strategic approaches for business change
• Contribute to bids and proposals.

Skills & Experience
You will have an awareness of business change management tools and techniques and have practical experience in applying some elements, e.g. as a Communications Manager or Trainer. You will have the foundation skills and experience outlined below:
• Awareness of business change management tools and techniques
• Awareness of organisational development & design
• Practical application of some elements of business change management
• An understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
• Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
• Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
• Excellent active listening skills
• Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
• Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal

Essential Requirements:
• Full and current driving licence
• Prepared to be mobile (eg willing to work away from home Mon – Friday)
• Ability to work alone or part of a team and be self-motivated
• Due to the nature of the projects undertaken individuals must be eligible to attain security clearance (SC Level)
