Specialist Account Manager - AWS Internet Of Things (IoT)

As a team member in this fast growing, exciting space you will have the opportunity to help grow and shape the future of a service category that will have a significant impact on our customers’ business. You will support building and managing an IoT opportunity pipeline focused on market penetration of IoT in the cloud. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record and background that enables them to team with AWS senior enterprise staff, Solutions Architects, Partners and engagements at the CxO level within the largest AWS accounts.
The ideal candidate will have both a business background with knowledge and interest in a range of vertical markets (healthcare, manufacturing, automotive telematics, financial services and/or aerospace), that enables them to engage and interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as a technical understanding that enables them to easily interact with developers and architects. He/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. A keen sense of ownership, drive, and scrappiness is a must.


• Significant technology related sales or business development experience
• A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus
• Direct field & management experience in working with enterprise accounts
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Extensive customer network
• Strong leadership skills
• Proven track record of success driving adoption of disruptive technologies within enterprise accounts


· A Second European language
· Significant previous IOT exposure
• BA/BS degree preferred
