DESCRIPTION

AmazonFresh is looking for a talented and experienced Sr. Marketing Manager to help grow and develop a world class shopping experience. The Sr. Marketing Manager will act as a key customer advocate within the business, responsible for optimizing ease of shop in the store and leveraging iterative testing and data analysis to improve the customer experience.

As a Sr. Marketing Manager you will be responsible for designing strategic, customer-facing programs to achieve customer, order, and revenue goals. Creative thinking is critical as the Sr. Marketing Manager will be instrumental in developing merchandising and coop strategies, prioritizing projects, driving the launch of new features and functionalities, and creating compelling business documents for senior management. Finally, you must possess an eye for innovation in order to identify opportunities for content efficiency and automation, and then work cross-functionally to implement those improvements.
We’re looking for someone who’s excited about being part of an emerging business and rolling up their sleeves to help build something new. There will be a lot of testing, learning and iterating, and therefore, we’re looking for an experienced, data-driven Sr. Marketing Manager with strong operational skills, excellent business judgment and an ability to deliver results in a rapidly evolving environment. You will be expected to flex both your analytical skills and your creative muscles: you should be as comfortable with the marketing science as you are with the marketing art, demonstrating your ability to appropriately use one to inform the other.
· Create an engaging site experience that makes shopping both easy and fun for customers while also meeting business goals.
· Use data to make recommendations that will improve shopping experience, or optimise campaigns.
· Work with vendors and vendor managers to create on-brand, best-in-class content to promote our products.
· Drive site improvements to completion by coordinating with project managers, web developers, engineers, and designers.
· Write strong Amazon-approved campaign copy that is appealing to customers.
· Liaise with international teams to share best practices and testing plans
· Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust at all levels
· Extreme attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree
· 5+ years of marketing experience in a fast-moving consumer-facing business
· Strong understanding of online marketing ecosystem and deep understanding of all online marketing channels (e.g. Direct, Display, Affiliate, E-Mail, Newsletter, SEM, SEO, Social Media)
· Experience interpreting and communicating analytics
· Proficiency with XML and Excel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively while applying sound business judgment and quantitative analytics
· Thought leader with a solid understanding of the key business drivers and customer dynamics in the digital media, commerce, advertising, mobile, and high-tech industries
· Passion for big challenges and a good sense of humor
