Finance Technolgy - Senior Program Manager

Finance is critical to the success of Amazon’s rapid global expansion of its business. The core mission of Finance Technology team is to enable Finance and our partners by building scalable and reliable technology solutions that facilitate Amazon’s growth. We are seeking a Senior Program Manager for the Finance Technology - Program Management Office (PMO). In addition to continuously driving and improving the execution of Finance's core mission, this role requires working closely with a team of senior program managers/technical program managers, Finance senior management and key software development teams across the company to define the strategy/roadmaps and lead the teams through delivery.

The job owner works with our software development and product teams to deliver high quality, scalable solutions that are deployed globally. These solutions need to be scalable and must be able to be supported by our Operational Support Centres. The job owner will collaborate with the product teams to deliver the best product with most efficient use of resources and technologies.


Educated to University Degree level
Excellent communication skills
PMI accreditation
ITIL Foundation or Practitioner


· Worked in dynamic, fast paced project delivery environment, where they led from the front, ensuring projects were delivered in line with success criteria
· Worked with stakeholders across multiple business units/geographies where they coordinated and held workstream owners to account on delivery
· Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; articulate and concise
· A self-starter with an entrepreneurial approach to projects, where ambiguity is a motivator
· Strong project management portfolio where candidate must be experienced running multiple projects concurrently, engaging with different stakeholders and project teams
- Experience in Finance system integration and the corresponding change management including designing business processes and workflows and roll out
