About the Business Line Transportation
We provide professional services in areas such as aviation, transit, freight rail, highways and bridges, planning, and ports and marine. Our global network of top-tier specialists delivers comprehensive services over the full life cycle of a project to benefit clients in government and private industries.

Job Summary Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide essential design and management support to the Team Leader;
Guide and mentor junior subordinate staff.
Conceptual and detailed design of civil infrastructure projects, as relates to:
Earthworks, roads, storm-water reticulation, sewer reticulation and water reticulation.
Preparation/checking of contract documentation and bills of quantities.
Project management, ad-hoc site supervision and admiration of contracts; Undertake projects adhering to a quality management system and ensure they are executed to high technical standards and within budgets and programme.
Complete any other work related to projects within the department.
Assist with business development i.e. drafting of proposals and tenders.

Minimum Requirements
Experience:

Minimum of 7 years experience within a Consulting Engineering environment.
Personal attributes:

Committed individual; ability to plan, lead and execute work independently; good communication skills; ability to work and support a professional team in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Ability to multi-task - work on several projects simultaneously.
Other comments:

Own reliable transport and valid driver's licence;
Proficient in AutoCAD; MS Office suite and civil 3D

Preferred Qualifications
BTech Civil Engineering/BSc Civil Engineering, Preferably registered as a Professional Engineer/Technologist or close to registration.
