BREEAM/LEED Consultant Benelux - Fluency in Dutch required

About the Business Line Environment
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.

Job Summary
Our Green Building team is seeking for a Seller/Doer Consultant with BREEAM/LEED experience to join a growing, creative and diverse team. The Green Building activities are performed at the interface of environment and construction services, as AECOM’s activities in the Benelux are mainly focused on those services.

Key responsibilities
Managing and conducting BREEAM assessments/LEED certifications including leading meetings, preparing progress reports, reviewing evidences and checking compliance;
Providing pragmatic advice to design teams of major projects on how to achieve compliance with BREEAM/
LEED protocols, including presenting technical information in a coherent and accessible way to a non-technical audience;
Working in close relationship with the developer, his architectural team, his engineering team and contractors to achieve the anticipated credit compliance;
Coordinating required technical studies/measurements;
Preparing good quality written reports for clients and certification bodies;
Pursuing new work and building client relationships;
Building up confidence with existing clients and cross-selling our services in order to further grow our business; and
Keeping up-to-date with industry and policy developments.

Minimum Requirements
Native Dutch speaker;
Excellent written and spoken English;
Knowledge of French is an added value;
At least 5 years of BREEAM or LEED experience or equivalent;
Experience in preparing good quality written reports, presenting technical information in a coherent and accessible way to a non-technical audience;
Experience in preparing fee proposals, project and client management;
Rigorous attention for details;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Enthusiastic for and committed towards sustainability issues; and
Team spirit and proactivity are a must.

Preferred Qualifications
Degree in architecture or engineering;
Qualified BREEAM AP / BREEAM International assessor / LEED AP; and
Qualified BREEAM in use assessor is an added value.
