Accountabilities and Responsibilities: (5 to 6 key outputs for which job holder accountable)

• Analyse the business processes and software applications for which documentation is to be prepared
• Write and maintain technical, support and end user documentation for existing/new software applications including online help
• Write and maintain documentation according to ad-hoc requests from the business
• Ensuring all changes to applications are documented and approved by management ready for release
• Providing and uploading content for EMEA IT Intranet pages
• Index and catalogue material
• Manage and communicate work schedule

• Experience in producing and maintaining technical and user documentation ESSENTIAL
• Experience of document management and version control ESSENTIAL
• Experience of working with business customers and internal IT organisations ESSENTIAL
• An understanding of financial software DESIRABLE

• Good problem solver
• A structured and methodical approach, with good attention to detail
• Good communication/interpersonal skills
• Able to work to tight timescales, be commercially aware, and have the ability to work well within a team structure
• Ability to quickly react to situations whilst maintaining a high quality of work
• Self starter with a “can do, will do” attitude
• An affinity and enthusiasm for learning new skill
