About the Business Line Building Engineering
We deliver creative solutions for building projects for industry, government, commercial and leisure sectors. Our building engineering specialists have expertise in structural and building services engineering, fire engineering, acoustics, facades and seismic design. We embed sustainability principles in every design.

Job Summary
We deliver creative and integrated design engineering solutions on buildings for industry, government, transportation, education, sports/ventures, commercial, hospitality, leisure, energy and smart cities sectors.

Our building engineering business offers an integrated approach to services with global best practices. Working from very complex to mega projects for both public and the private sectors, it is leading the way for technology driven (BIM) integrated project delivery. The services include Design Management, BIM based Architecture Engineering, BIM Advisory, Structural, building services like mechanical HVAC and HV/LV electrical power, lighting and ancillary systems, plumbing engineering and Sustainability Green building Services.

​AECOM India is seeking to hire an experienced BIM Specialist. The responsibilities of this role are as follows -
Provide technical consulting to help drive successful adoption of BIM tools for energy analysis and sustainable building design.
Provide ongoing support for all BIM applications and work closely with Design.
Technology Manager to guide the transition from traditional CAD practices and deliverables into more integrated design.
To educate office leadership and operations in the use of BIM tools on projects and to assist teams at the onset of their project to manage expectations for deliverables and digital project plan to meet project goals.
Generating BIM documents to submit for construction/bidding purposes and Participate in MEP Coordination phases of projects when Revit models are required for clash detection.
Mentoring local Revit leadership, develop project specific implementation strategies and collaborate with project teams to insure BIM success by Standardize and document Revit workflows & best practices.
Maintain BIM standards and design templates to ensure quality and consistency of design environment and deliverables throughout various offices worldwide UK, Australia, Dubai, Qatar, India and USA.

Minimum Requirements
4-6 years’ experience with modeling software in an engineering environment.
Bachelors in Architecture
Strong supervisory, leadership and communication skills.
Experience with project planning and tracking and co-ordination.
The candidate should be open to work at any Metro City in India.

Preferred Qualifications
Masters in Architecture is preferred.
Revit certification required within one year of current version
General knowledge of integrated architectural practice, clash detection, quantity take off and drawing production.
Experience with project planning and tracking and co-ordination.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
