Channel Marketing Manager - EMEA

World-leading cyber security business Thales e-Security is seeking a talented Channel Marketing Manager to join us in securing some of the world’s most valuable information. Based in Long Crendon near Aylesbury, the business provides vital, trusted crypto security systems to companies all over the world and is responsible for protecting more than 80% of worldwide payment transactions.

It’s an exciting time to be joining Thales e-Security because we have recently acquired Vormetric and together our activities enable organisations to protect and control their data from the data centre to the cloud, while strengthening their security posture and meeting data privacy compliance.

The Role

This role is key in providing the necessary help and support to our partner community in order to drive pipeline creation. This includes: communicating with partners, developing programs and keeping them informed and up-to-date on company news and product information. The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, driving and implementing channel marketing activity, developing and overseeing the channel partner strategic marketing plan and implementing channel campaigns in order to expand market share and pursue aggressive growth targets.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
Analysis and planning - responsible for developing and implementing the EMEA channel marketing strategy and campaign plan
Work closely with the global channel teams on the development and production of partner enablement tools and other campaign-related collateral (campaign-in-a-box)
Work closely with Field Marketing to deliver strategic channel plans, activities and campaigns for the channel and providing advanced support for major asset launches/promotions/campaign-in-a-box
Responsible for communicating all channel programs, promotions and provide on-going metrics and analytics to roll up to global number
Deliver regular, high-quality channel partner communications
Ensure the smooth running and communication of the channel training program
Work alongside the Global & EMEA Channel Directors on the delivery of the annual EMEA Channel Partner Conference – including objectives, content, agenda as well as logistics and production.
Elicit bidirectional feedback loop to and from field marketing, sales and other constituents to order to hone future strategies, programs and plans
Work closely with the Channel Marketing Director to ensure the global channel marketing goals are met

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven marketing experience; with exceptional written and verbal communications skills
Previous experience in the IT security industry
Ability to effectively work with multiple teams across a number of geographic locations
Previous experience in a Channel Partner marketing role
Marketing or related business degree or equivalent
Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma (CIM)
