The device team at Amazon is looking for an innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Marketing Manager to support our Fire tablets business in EU.The role will be based in London and help drive new consumer initiatives for Fire tablets.

This is a rare opportunity for a talented marketing professional to lead the charge for leading and revolutionary consumer electronics products. Initially, your focus will be to analyze and determine in-country marketing strategies, online channel mix, and then drive optimization and performance analysis across multiple online channels. You will work closely with global and local marketing teams, create rigorous analytical processes, and produce cost-effective programs. The successful candidate will draw upon extremely strong analytical skills to continually analyze the business and its inputs, find insights, and assemble effect programs that act on those insights.

As the EU Marketing Manager for Fire tablets, you will:
· Identify and drive new programs & efforts that improve online channel efficiencies while maximizing device sales opportunities. You will monitor & improve online and offline traffic channels, including homepages, e-mail, paid search, and affiliate programs for Fire tablets in EU.
· Deep dive into web analytics to understand traffic and conversion data and drive analysis and recommendations for maximizing ROI and optimization; track high level performance against traffic goals (spend, conversion, efficiency, etc.), recommending and executing program improvements and initiatives.
· Produce impactful and cost effective programs that drive unit sales
· Produce and execute marketing plans, offers, and promotions
· Manage program budgets and timelines
· Establish pre & post campaign research and audit and optimize efforts to improve
· Interface with various Amazon commercial teams to evaluate incremental or cooperative opportunities


· 7+ years of relevant work experience in consumer marketing, marketing communications and/or digital/high-technology consumer companies/products
· A bachelor's degree is required
· Fluency in English.
· Be comfortable in getting hands dirty to get things done
· Demonstrated success in data intensive quantitative analysis and recommendations. Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and feature concepts
· Significant experience in successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment
· Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills as well as a proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
· Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects across functional teams, including product management, marketing, creative, legal and merchandizing teams
· Strong leader with excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills; ability to work successfully with and influence all levels across Amazon
· Proven ability to manage large numbers of initiatives and competing priorities
· Proven ability to deliver against both shorter term tactical and long-term priorities
· Experience working with SQL and Excel


· Any additional language skills (German, French, Italian, Spanish) is a plus.
