Job Summary
AECOM currently has an opening for a Graphic Designer within the Building + Places team. This is an all-encompassing role that will entail working on marketing, internal communications, work winning documentation, packaging, conceptual design, presentations, large format design and smaller bespoke design such as infographics and short-run print collateral.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with copywriters, work winners and the marketing team to define and support the production of specialized documents, presentations, collaterals and internal campaigns.
Dissect complex information into aesthetically pleasing graphics that effectively communicate the intended message.
Demonstrate innovation and strong visual problem solving skills as well as a collaborative and team-oriented spirit.
Show exceptional knowledge of the AECOM brand and ensure that all work meets AECOM design standards.
Actively follow the creative internal processes and procedures.
Support work winning through cutting edge design and creative support.
Play an active role in the creative team; interacting and sharing ideas with the other designers both in the Middle East and across EMIA.
Advocate health and safety within the work environment.

Minimum Requirements Personal Specification:
Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.
Fluent in English (verbal and written). Arabic would be advantageous but not essential.
Demonstrate clear commitment to customer service.
Ability to interpret verbal and written briefs.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal clients and colleagues.
Excellent understanding of design, branding and technology.
Exemplary creative awareness, underpinned by a thoughtful, logical approach.
Ability to work under pressure and be flexible regarding working hours and location.
Ability to push boundaries, articulate design ideas and present with confidence.

Preferred Qualifications
A degree or diploma in graphic design or fine arts would be preferable to qualifications. A range of experience of working at a graphic design level would be advantageous.
You will be fluent in the basic Creative Suite programmes such as InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Any other skills such as web design or motion graphics would be highly advantageous.
You will be involved from initial client brief through to finished product – so the candidate should have experience dealing with printers and creating print-ready artwork.
