Job Summary

Collaborating within a team you will be involved but not limited to some of the key responsibilities,

• Provide technical support and compliance to the preconstruction team by supporting the tender process, reviewing design and advising best supply chain solutions.
• Managing multiple teams and sub-contractors ensuring overall design, build and commissioning meet the client’s specification.
• Liaise with clients to ensure installation and works are carried out to the level expected.
• Ensure that the Aecom policies and guidelines are adhered to and a Site Safety Plan is implemented in a timely fashion.
• Ensure that construction work is carried out in accordance with Safe Work Method Procedures.
• Report into the Project Director regarding progress on the construction program.
• Manage the construction program from beginning through to its final stage of commissioning and testing before handover.
• Manage all testing processes and the contractors involved.
• Liaise with Consultants and Design Manager to resolve information and design issues.
• Maintain an up to date Site Diary / record.
• Assist procurement in subcontract attendances, scope of works and selection of subcontractors.
• Deal with any subcontract issues which may need resolving in the areas of programme, quality or safety.
• Ensure work is carried out within quality plans, inspections are carried out and defects rectified.
• Responsible for logistics planning regarding site access and setup.
• Co-chair monthly HS&E meetings with the Health, Safety & Environment Manager.

Minimum Requirements
The successful candidate will need to have experience with,

• Understanding of Project Packages as well as this you will have experience in total site management as well as a proven track record of leading multiple discipline teams.
• Experience in the Building services sector and a working knowledge of the operational activities and trade skills and excellent presentations and communications skills and have proficient problem solving skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure, the confidence to make decisive decisions and experience in meeting tight deadlines.
• Degree in Engineering or Building qualifications, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience working within a management position on fit-out projects on high-rise construction projects.
• Solid background of site based experience with knowledge and understanding of various building trades, including up-to-date building techniques / methodologies.
