Brand Specialist – Health and Personal Care

Initial 11 month fixed term contract

The health and personal care sector is one of the largest product families within the Amazon Retail Consumables business. This FMCG area is fast paced, in high growth and offers the opportunity to work with international brands within oral care, sports nutrition, medical and household products and more.

We're looking for smart, proactive people to help grow our business. As Brand Specialist, you'll work with selected vendors to help drive growth and deliver a best-in-class customer experience on Amazon.co.uk, while building great business relationships with some of Amazon's top brands by leading presentations and planning sessions. You’ll be a product expert, contributing to the management of product detail, promotions and merchandising; a marketing specialist, identifying opportunities to drive traffic and awareness; an operational whizz, managing admin tasks efficiently; and you'll have the analytical expertise to plan for and measure success.

To achieve success in this role you will have a mix of marketing, analytical, relationship management and organisational skills. You will also be comfortable picking up new technologies. Your goal will be to contribute to increase traffic and sales by planning and executing effective marketing and promotions across multiple channels (including email, search and social media), ensuring high-quality product detail pages, and working with vendors to optimise operational processes and fundamentals such as resolving inventory management issues and customer service queries.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Excellent written English and strong attention to detail
· Marketing skills and commercial nous
· Analytical skills and high computer literacy, with ability to learn new systems quickly
· Confidence in communicating both internally and externally
· Demonstrable ability to think on your feet and make smart decisions
· Planning, prioritisation and time-management skills
· Extensive experience of analytical tools e.g. Excel, Google Analytics
· Bachelors degree a minimum

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Previous experience in a related role (i.e. online content & marketing)
· Previous experience in retail
· Basic knowledge of HTML and/or website content management systems
