The Living Room Automation and Tooling team has the mission to make device management fully automated, by building APIs and services to orchestrate and manage devices globally. If you are interested in automation tooling as well as streaming technologies, then this could be a great opportunity for you. This is a new team working on building a new suite of services for Amazon customers.
We are seeking a talented Technical Program Manager focused on managing software development products. This position is instrumental in driving improvements with internal & external partners. If you enjoy working in a rapidly changing environment and influencing the strategic direction of key initiatives, this position will provide you with a challenging opportunity. You will be responsible for managing cross-team communication to ensure all business and technical stakeholder’s needs are aligned, conducting and responding to product development goals, coordinating the scoping & planning of software development and driving the releases to production. A successful candidate will have an established background in software development, a strong technical ability, excellent project management skills, great communication skills, a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment, high creativity, great analytical reasoning skills, and, of course, a passion for TV and film.


4+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a related industry
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Previous project & program management experience
Highly technical - hands-on software engineering experience is a must.
Extensive project leadership experience.
Skilled in risk management, business risk analysis and making complex business/risk trade-off recommendations and decisions.
Experience in planning and delivery of enterprise-level software development programs.
Experience managing agile processes such as Scrum and Kanban
Experience with service-oriented architectures and web services.


Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, and a consideration for scale, efficiency and performance
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
Detailed technical knowledge in IP-based engineering & systems
