Sr. Manager, EU Offline Operations

Amazon Devices is one of the most innovative and fastest growing businesses at Amazon. This position provides an exciting opportunity to help support Global Supply Chain Management of Amazon Devices into retailer stores worldwide (B2B). Candidate will be responsible for EU B2B Supply Planning, Fulfillment solution design, Order Management and Returns processing functionalities within the Amazon Devices team, and will work cross functionally across Manufacturing, Account Management, Inventory Accounting, External Fulfillment Providers and Retailers to ensure highest level of end customer experience.

Job Responsibilities
· Lead a team of Sales Operations and Logistics leaders in EU
· Manage day-to-day supply chain operations for Amazon Devices Offline Operations
· Ability to undertake contract negotiations with third party service providers
· Work with operations to ensure predictable, accurate, and consistent delivery of product to the customer
· Define and manage execution of projects to optimize supply chain and operations processes - from inception through delivery - leveraging functional knowledge of supply chain architectures
· Be a focal point for exception handling and escalation, and work with various stakeholders to arrive at the best possible conclusion on issues
· Work to continuously drive operating costs down
· Engage with other teams to form technical and functional documentation for processes
· Utilize Six Sigma and Lean practices to optimize supply chain and operations processes
· Collect data on existing processes, analyze it with statistical software to discover areas of defects or inefficiencies, and define project opportunities for improvements in the process area
· Build solid relationships with peers across the organization and ensure smooth process flow and collaboration
· Collect product and software requirements
· Work with manufacturing and product allocation teams to ensure sufficient in-stock levels to meet retailer demands
· Ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer experience for customers using subject matter expertise in fulfillment, inbound and outbound logistics, and overall supply chain systems

· 7+ years of relevant work experience in an operations management or supply chain role
· Experience working with international retail, consumer electronics, and/or operations/logistics companies
· A bachelor's degree is required; an M.B.A. is preferred
· Excel user, SQL or Access skills
· Six Sigma, Lean and/or Kaizen Certification

· Experience in warehouse operations, Sales & Operations Planning and Logistics
· Experience negotiating 3rd party logistics contracts
· History of effectively managing external customers and successfully working with internal teams to build new capability and implement projects.
· Experience using Six Sigma or Lean practices to optimize supply chain or operations processes
· Independence and flexibility

· Superior verbal and written communications skills
· Analytical approach to problem solving and a track record of driving results through continuous improvement
