Senior Manager, Product Management

DESCRIPTION

Amazon is growing and we need nimble leaders who move fast, are capable of breaking down and solving complex problems, and have a strong will to get things done. As a result of continued rapid growth we are seeking a leader Product Management in the UK with an appetite for a broad and international exposure and experience. This role requires a Product Manager who can show proven ability in managing and influencing change and improvements in cross functional teams. The incumbent has an intrinsic motivation to dive deep to identify and drive innovations and process improvements that minimize costs and increase customer experience.

Key areas of responsibility

· Help leading throughout the full lifecycle of major projects like category expansions, new service introductions, new delivery options and business process changes
· Manage the project roadmap and planning in close collaboration with Amazon’s international technology teams to support local business initiatives in marketing, owning the customer experience
· Liaise with other technical and non-technical departments within the organization wherever a roadmap dependency is identified

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· University degree with top grade in Business or Information Science, ideally plus an MBA
· Experience in leading Product Management or similar teams in retail, online or consulting companies
· Proven of experience as Project Manager in an international environment
· Able to think and act farsightedly, but also drive tactics and execution; willing to rolling up sleeves and get the job done
· Experience in Pricing, ideally in the online industry
· Have an entrepreneurial spirit and be able to work effectively in a results-oriented, efficient environment
· Excellent analytical skills and experience with Business Intelligence tools
· Experience collecting, analyzing, and summarizing large data sets in order to drive conclusions and recommendations
· Skill at building financial models, budgets, forecasts, and implementation schedules for new projects
· Strong English verbal and written communication skills required, another European language a plus
