Procurement Administrator

Amazon Logistics is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Procurement Administrator to assist the Procurement department in managing all aspects of the purchase to pay process. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the team.


The ideal candidate requires experience in administration and/or procurement, ideally within an international fast-paced and customer-driven environment. You will be responsible for:

- Maintenance of Amazon Logistics’ Procurement system and master item lists.
- Maintenance of Procurement records and databases (e.g. supplier setup, contract information, supplier performance).
- Maintaining clear documentation and audit trail of procurement activities.
- Utilizing multiple databases and systems to deliver accurate metrics, reporting and analytics.
- Managing the ordering of shipping supplies, ensuring deliveries are made on time and working with Operations to ensure receipt of goods in Oracle.
- Managing the relationship with our internal customers and suppliers.
- Working with your line manager and other Procurement Specialists in the team (based across the EU) to support the launch of new sites.
- Enforcing and monitoring Procurement policy compliance.
- Delivering policy and process training to requesters and key stakeholders/functions.
- Supporting all Procurement activities related to new site launches.
- Providing ongoing Procurement support to existing sites.

- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience of dealing with both internal and external customers/suppliers at all levels.
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels to manage expectations and push back where appropriate.
- Demonstrates patience and perseverance during setbacks and challenges.
- Takes ownership of daily/weekly/monthly tasks as well as adhoc tasks.
- Strong planning, organization, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task, work and complete tasks effectively under minimal supervision, tight time constraints, and periodic high volume circumstances.
- Computer literate with experience of Microsoft packages (including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Willing to travel throughout the EU if required.
- Fluent/business proficient in English.

- Previous use of Oracle/Coupa would be advantageous
- German, French, Italian, Spanish language skills would be advantageous
