DESCRIPTION

D1 at Amazon is an amalgam of departments including Production, Post Production, Photography and Print. These areas build brand through mass advertising as well as providing creative services for Amazon retail teams, delivering campaigns of applied photography, videos, marketing assets, widgets and user experiences. We deliver measurably effective integrated-marketing programs, demand, category and brand campaigns, in support of company and category objectives.

The right candidate will possess a unique drive, with an ambition to excel in the delivery of content within a non liner post production environment, catering for a variety of creative teams, whilst providing the highest level of service to all stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to join a team in an exciting infancy, and become part of the driving force behind its construction assisting in the delivery of a worldwide model for Amazons global business.

The right person will have energy in abundance and a passion for culture with a digital accent. You need to have a minimum of 3 years experience working in a design studio or agency environment, be able to think in 2d and 3d and possess a flexible skill set that can be applied across a variety of projects including events, exhibitions, motion graphic, interactive and digital design projects for Amazon branded content internationally recognised brands and internal clientele.

Working closely with Amazons post production creative director, post producers, freelance talent and business partners, you will be involved in projects from conception to delivery, spanning creative thinking and brainstorming, pitching, concept sketching and visualisation for client presentations, 2d & 3d rendering, creating templates for best practises, submitting final deliverables and more.

As such you need to be a bit of a design generalist who is comfortable working in 2d and 3d across graphic design, user interface design, editing workflows, photography, animation, coding, and basic 3d modelling. Whilst you don’t have to be excellent in all of these categories, a passion for learning new skills is essential.

Comfortable working under pressure, you need to be extremely organised and able to deliver high-quality work whilst working to tight deadlines.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

You’ll have a motion graphics or video effects background with a cracking reel. Experience in a professional, post production environment beneficial.

International market experience would be ideal, but not essential. Creatively, you will be able to impress, with evidence of high level original campaigns and work across a number of genres.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Excellent Knowledge of Adobe CC, After Effects, Photoshop,Illustrator & Cinema 4D.
· A good understanding of video editing, specifically Premiere.
· A good level of technical competency.
· A real team ethos and a collaborative approach to work
· The ability to work to a brief and deliver on time and on budget.
· Great attention to detail; able to deliver final projects accurately and to established templates.
· Fantastic communication and team skills.
· The ability to take a proactive and sometimes independent approach to challenges.
· Evidence of working creatively within a brand.
· Previous experience on Broadcast Productions as a Graphics Operator/Designer
· Good Knowledge of Adobe products: specifically After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
· Good knowledge of non-linear edit suite environment
· Computer Literate (PC/MAC)
· Design Qualification to Degree Standard or industry experience with proven track record.
