Amazon is looking for a talented, dynamic leader to make a dramatic impact on Beer Wines and Spirits across the EU. The business is one of Amazon’s fast-growing retail initiatives and is dynamically changing the way customers shop.

You are responsible for developing the marketing and programme strategy and managing the business to deliver the plan across the EU5 countries where Amazon has a local website (Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the UK). You own and set the direction for the demand generation, the customer experience and the projects that will drive our business across the region. You deliver profitable growth by; improving the customer value proposition through developing and launching feature enhancements to improve the shopping experience, identifying and implementing successful customer acquisition, retention and growth marketing strategies, ensuring the right products are available with vendor funding and working to continuously drive process improvements across the supply chain.

We are looking for an experienced senior leader who shares Amazon's passion for customers, can develop clear strategy and deliver major initiatives for the immediate and future success of the business.

Responsibilities
As the marketing and programme leader, you own the EU marketing and programme strategy for BWS. You engage regularly with senior leaders across EU and globally and get buy-in on plans requiring additional tech support.

You recommend how to develop and improve the customer and programme value propositions, including the addition of new features and functionality that are specific to BWS. You will partner with the Global programme team in Seattle to align strategy and technical roadmaps and deliver changes.

You lead development of the EU marketing strategy to acquire and engage customers, surfacing compelling data to attract vendor funded marketing campaigns and sponsorship opportunities and implementing new ways to communicate with customers to encourage purchases.

You are responsible for ensuring a robust EU selection strategy for Beer Wines and Spirits and to work with Category Leaders and Vendor Managers to bring this selection into the business with vendor funding. You lead operational process improvements, and ensure in-stock optimization for the key categories and vendors that drive sales. You drive automation of tools and processes and adoption of new technical features, and operational improvements across EU.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· University degree in a.
· Ability to think both strategically and tactically, with a results driven mentality.
· Highly analytical and data driven, combined with strong commercial acumen.
· Passionate self-starter, decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas.
· Experience in marketing and traffic driving activities
Experience in project and program management.
· Proven track record of identifying customer needs and pain points, and effectively translating them into business requirements.
· Excellent communication and influencing skills. Experience in building internal and external relationships in complex and dynamic organisations and in influencing cross-functional, cross-matrix teams.
· Experience in leading a team with excellent people management and coaching skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Programme management and product launch experience for an e-commerce business.
· Commercial or marketing experience for an e-commerce business.
