About the Business Line Transportation
We provide professional services in areas such as aviation, transit, freight rail, highways and bridges, planning, and ports and marine. Job Summary AECOM is currently expanding their current structural team in Kolkata office following several major project wins.

Our Transportation team in Kolkata office is actively seeking highly talented Structural Design Engineer with experience of working on infrastructure Projects(Metro or Bridge).

Responsibilities for this position include:
Interacting with Clients and obtain design approvals.
Structural analysis and design using finite element software such as STAAD, Midas.
Designing and interacting with clients on issues related to project requirement
Design & analysis D-walls ,Temporary strut system, Soldier pile retaining system Interpretation of Geo-tech reports for design​.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelors of Technology- Civil
2 to 4 years’ experience within a similar role
Should have an experience in structural design of at least one of the following items: underground metro, bridges, flyovers, marine structures.
Good command over structural analysis and design using finite element software such as STAAD, Midas and SAP.
Should have through knowledge of IS codes of practices and knowledge of BS & ACI standards would be an added advantage.
Experience in Infrastructure projects required

Preferred Qualifications
Masters in Structures.
Should be amicable and can work in a team.
Should sound convincing when dealing with the Client
