Launched in the UK in September 2016, Amazon Restaurants is a service that delivers food to Prime members from their favourite restaurants. The Amazon Restaurants business offers an entrepreneurial environment where innovating independently, launching quickly, and having fun are paramount.

We are actively seeking a tenacious Marketing Manager to support internal and external teams on acquiring, engaging and retaining merchants in UK and driving value-add projects that will improve our merchant experiences. This candidate will also be responsible for email marketing for merchants and consumers. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in merchant or consumer marketing, is highly organized and has a terrific reputation for achieving goals and insisting on the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:
· Drive the merchant marketing strategy for UK and work with global teams in key strategic initiatives
· Work with Account Managers, Sales Managers and Product Manager on plan to acquire, on-board, engage and retain merchants by using various channels such emails, direct marketing, online and offline channels and social media
· Create regular newsletters for merchants and measure success on engagement metrics. Ensure that our merchants receive the highest level of operational support and are aware of any new product / service features
· Conduct regular qualitative and quantitative surveys and share the learning and feedback with the wider team. Continually learn from merchants to inform our product team on product enhancements
· Cultivate and grow relationships with US teams, Sales Managers, Account Managers, Product Managers to achieve the desired results
· Build standardized marketing campaigns and support City Managers in email marketing for targeted anchor/national merchant communication
· Drive the email marketing strategy and content calendar for Amazon Restaurants customers. This also includes working with design teams on monthly newsletters to Amazon Restaurants customers
· Be able to report on key business metrics, explain any variances and share with all relevant stakeholders
· Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to building and improving SOPs
· Test different approaches to drive continual performance improvement, sharing best practice with UK and US Merchandisers and introducing merchandising solutions that scale
· Own weekly, monthly and quarterly channel performance reporting of the email and Amazon channels, explaining key inputs and outputs to identify potential risks or opportunities to the plan

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
· Solid experience in an online merchandising role with knowledge of content management and email marketing tools
· Track record in managing multiple projects with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
· Comfortable with traffic and conversion metrics and terminology, possessing strong analytical and numerical skills with good experience of Excel, including Macros, V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
· Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, driving clear, thoughtful analysis that tells a story
· Accustomed to working in a fast pace environment with multiple stakeholders, having to influence different teams across departments and ideally across countries
· Evidence of working creatively on projects and problems, devising innovative solutions that simplify process and generate efficiencies

· Restaurant or food delivery industry experience.
· Experience using SQL /CRM and/or BI tools such as Sales Force and Tableau
· Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities
