Global Program Development and Deployment Manager (Data Analytics)

Diageo has set up a Data and Analytics (D&A) function within Global Diageo Business Services (GDBS) focused on leveraging our core information assets (data, analytic capability, reporting and analytic tools) to better equip markets with business decision relevant facts, information and actionable insight. D&A will increasingly become a core differentiator for Diageo, with clear opportunities across Diageo’s commercial investment and operating model.

The Global Program Development and Deployment Manager role is focused on developing programs to scale out core Data Analytics capabilities to the business.

This role will be focused on the full lifecycle of developing and deploying DA capabilities to global markets (21 Markets). Working in partnership with the Data Analytics Transformation leads this role will actively promote the development of globally scalable capability with lead markets.
The role will also be accountable for ensuring the interdependencies between critical programs is understood and is actively managed to optimize overall deployment. This role will ensure rigor in the planning process and ensure Data Analytics programs are structured in accordance with Diageo’s delivery methodology.

Top Accountabilities

Own and manage the DA development and deployment plan and ensure relevancy to the plan to the business and stage of maturity of DA capabilities.
Work with the Global Data Analytics Transformation Director and DA Technology and Development Director to ensure a clear and structured evolution of the development and deployment plans, ensuring clarity of critical interdependencies and priorities.
Ensure for each project there is a clear scope and resourcing model to optimise deployment and sequencing delivery.
Lead, motivate and demonstrate drive to deliver global programs, influencing and delivering through others, creating focus and clarity for virtual working groups.
Provide subject matter expertise, coaching and assessment/calibration in developing a strong pipeline of talent, inspire teams to deliver world class transformation performance and champion improvements in the capability across the Data & Analytics communities
Qualifications and Experience Required

Academic or professional qualifications in management and/or leadership are highly advantageous
Likely 10-15 years PQE at a multinational company
Experience interpreting business requirements, recognizing impact on business processes and systems, and leading to a highly effective system management structure.
Experienced in Data Analytics platform system development and deployment, understands data structures and is experienced in developing Analytic ecosystems.
Experienced in system development risk assessment and management.
Deep knowledge of BI analytic tools ( MS BI, MSTR, SQL)
Travel is essential for this role
