Senior Custom Program Manager, Digital Advertising

Job Description
The custom advertising team is focused on developing new and innovative solutions to help our customers engage with brands in ways that enhance their experience of Amazon's consumer products and services.

We are looking for a Senior Custom Program Manager to support our UK business

This person will be responsible for delivering custom advertising propositions for strategic UK brands, by identifying customer engagement opportunities across Amazon’s customer journeys, engaging creative, product and account experts; validating and scoping innovative solutions that deliver superior advertiser performance while delighting our customers.

Key responsibilities:
· Constantly develop and vet new advertising product innovations that are outside of our standard product card, by engaging with customers, creative teams and UK management to deliver unique solutions for our strategic advertising partners.
· Respond quickly and thoroughly to requests for new advertising concepts that can be delivered rapidly to meet advertiser needs.
· Partner with local market segment advertising and retail leadership to identify and prioritize needs for the UK business.
· Attend client meetings to help assess goals, objectives and asks in terms of advertising solutions. Succinctly summarize findings, distribute to the cross-functional team (advertising, product, creative) to drive forward required solutions.
· Drive solution requirements definition, research, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development and any needed testing.
· Secure scoping, scheduling and feature prioritization across multiple products and feel comfortable working with technical teams to make decisions about complex problems.
· Create and drive local market repeatable processes for advertising solutions that reduce friction for advertisers and ensures high-quality customer experience for our consumers.
· Support the advertising org and customers to ensure our product offering continues to evolve and improve.
· Develop overall solution plans that meet operational requirements, project manage the execution of custom advertising solutions and ensure that stakeholders have all the inputs required for flawless delivery of these custom solutions.
· Present confidently to Amazon senior management, external clients, and other large audiences.
The ideal candidate will be a very strong innovation driver renowned for his or her customer centric approach and strong partnership on delivery. The successful candidate will have a proven track record on developing non-standard advertising solutions or product management experience with consumer-facing solutions or products.

We’re looking for someone who is ready to roll-up their sleeves and join a tightly-knit team that is tacking a really interesting and challenging project.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, technology, engineering or related field.
· Strong relevant experience in Product Management and Project Management, preferably within operational or technology-focussed roles within the advertising- and media industry.
· Ability to prioritize work and coordinate stakeholders across multitude of time-critical, competing projects.
· Passionate about advertising and have experience creating compelling solutions which work both for end-users and advertisers.
· Thrive on delivering first-to-market solutions that connect advertisers with their core customers across Amazon. Also thrive on generating and building big ideas.
· Proven track records of building and delivering strong high-concept propositions that are thoughtfully scoped for flawless execution.
· Apply sound business judgment as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize.
· Strong communication skills are crucial, proven ability to influence others internally and externally and experience partnering with a world-wide sales organization.
· Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically and tactically.
· Understanding of technical integration of ideas, and the ability to build relationships with development roles and designers.

· Master’s degree
· Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2)
