Job Summary
An excellent job opportunity exists for a talented Civil /Structural Engineer to join our expanding Resources & Industry (R&I) team based in our Warrington Office . The successful candidate will ideally have had 4 to 5 years relevant experience since graduating . Although based in Warrington we operate multi-office working and periods of working in our Manchester office may also be required on occasions.

Our R&I offices are multi-disciplinary and our market sectors are diverse covering projects involving Airports , Building Structures ,Highways and Infrastructure , Industrial Regeneration, Industry & Manufacturing Plants, Building Services , Nuclear Associated Works , Waste and Energy, Pharmaceutical Plants , Logistics Facilities , Mission Critical & Data Centres.

We provide structured training and excellent support with continuing professional development to support your career progression within AECOM.

Minimum Requirements
• BSc/MSc in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent with post graduate design experience( 4-5 years ) with an engineering consultancy, or similar.
• Building structure design experience using all the main materials on a variety of structures projects including industrial & commercial buildings
• Capable of working under minimal supervision
• Experience in Eurocodes essential
• Knowledgeable in finite element and frame analysis software for steel and RC frames, flat slabs, etc.
• Knowledgeable in drainage and highway design software such as PDS , Civils 3D etc
• Revit expertise advantageous
• Experienced in the design of external works including drainage , highways and access roads, general civil engineering

Preferred Qualifications
Chartered or near chartered status.
