About the Business Line Program, Cost, Consultancy
We provide cost and project management services, and specialist consultancy services, to public- and private-sector clients around the world, with a strong presence in Africa, Australia and New Zealand, Europe, the Middle East and the United States.

Job Summary Job Summary
This individual is accountable to provide accurate, consistent and reasoned scheduling advice and related subject matter expertise. This individual is responsible to manage work commitments and to coordinate with the client and program/ project teams to ensure requirements are met.

Duties & Responsibilities
Prepares detailed computer generated cost reports, charts and diagrams. Provides analysis and review of cost/budget expenditure and maintains cost control reports from P6. Promptly reports anticipated cost overages or other unsatisfactory cost elements.
Supports integration of scope, cost and schedule within the WBS and ensures that mapping is accurate on an ongoing basis
Review, analyse, monitor and report cost progress of Contractor’s updated progress schedules and align these with the contractor’s payment applications.
Develops cash flow forecasts
Supports monthly consolidated project cost performance report
Experienced in the use of a cost control software application
Supervise computer input, coding, loading and data control.
Prepare detailed engineering and construction project cost reports.
Monitor, evaluate and report project cost data, including budgeted and forecasted amounts
Maintain engineering and construction cost/budget expenditure.
Capture / calculate, analyse, report and recommend on project data including schedule, cost / budget, performance risk, quality, and safety.
May produce and/or support probabilistic modelling through the use of software / computational algorithms.
Promptly anticipates cost overages or other unsatisfactory cost elements and prepares cost exception reports.
Implement and follow Quality Management System, policies, procedures, and templates
Perform other job-related duties as required

Minimum 5 years industry experience
Minimum 3 years experience in the UAE
Aviation experience highly desirable
Experience in multiple project types and delivery methods
Previous experience for a consultancy

Preferred Qualifications Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Business or related field
Active professional membership in related field highly desirable
Specific skills required
Good understanding of planning, analysis and reporting of construction works
Good knowledge of budgeting, cost control and performance tracking techniques
Good knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVMS)
Hands on knowledge of Primavera 6.7 (P6)
Good computer skills; in particular Microsoft Office
Good understanding of construction materials, means and methods
Good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Good supervisory skills
Good problem-solving skills
Good analytical skills
