Role Purpose

Summary:

Responsible for the financial and schedule performance of assigned programs within cost limitations and established standards.
May lead the coordination of proposal preparation, statements of work and specifications, estimation of product/service costs, negotiation and administration of contracts.
Establishes Program Management Plan (PMP) including customer milestones, Develops Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and manages adherence to the same.
Directs the performance of program functional task elements such as procurement, manufacturing, quality control, logistics, and administrative functions through an Integrated Product Team (IPT).
Acts as primary customer relationship manager on program status and performance and anticipates and fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction and continued business.
Key Responsibilities
Daily communication with Customers to ensure requirements are clearly understood and any production impacts are communicated that are beyond GKN’s sphere of control.
Directs all phases of program from inception through completion using the GKN Lifecycle Management process.
Participates in contract changes
Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Weekly reviews Customer demand for Livery requirements; Writes PR’s and works with Purchasing to procure and manage the paint Supplier to ensure OTD to support Production.
Supplier Integration: Establish and maintain a collaborative working environment

Qualifications / Experience / Skills

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree
3+ years of experience in Program Management leading technical cross functional teams in a manufacturing environment.

Additional Qualifications:

Ability to effectively communicate complex subjects in a dynamic work environment
Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to effectively manage customer relationships, ability to multi task, and a demonstrated team player
Leadership ability to manage a cross-functional team
