Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team.

Your Mission:

The position requires a proactive customer driven approach, demonstrating full ownership and responsibility for implementing and completing projects with the customer. The role involves managing, engineering, planning and resourcing multiple projects within an end user projects team. The role requires close working with the Commercial Manager, tendering and commissioning teams, and brings the opportunity to assist the account and operations managers with additional sales proposals.

Your Responsibilities:

1). Operate and deliver multiple projects to our customers through Schneider Electric Quality Management System and Health and Safety Management System
2). Lead, develop, coach and mentor projects team through the successful delivery of projects
3). Ensure that defined project goals, objectives and performance measures are met or exceeded
4). Identify project issues and put proactive plans in place to resolve effectively and in a timely manner
5). Carry out engineering design of BMS and integrated projects, I/O schedules, description of operation, control panel design approval, plant schematics, H & S documentation, O & M documentation.
6). Procurement of equipment and subcontract installation/panels to meet the project programme
7). Financial control of the project including procurement, invoice approval, variation handling, final account agreement, monthly cost to complete reviews. Close liaison with the commercial team.
8). Attend site meetings with the customer, contractor, subcontractor, consultant as appropriate
9). Take a proactive approach to gaining all information required to progress our works.

Key performance indicators:
1. Customer satisfaction
2. Project revenue and profit (including post project costs) (PASS)
3. Achieving savings targets.

About You:

The ideal candidate will be educated in an Engineering Discipline and have relevant work experience. You will have the ability to develop procedures and processes and have good leadership skills including, employee mentoring and development and the ability to empower others through delegating responsibility.

You will be computer literate and familiar with relevant software packages, have a good understanding of HVAC and electrical systems, access or other building or electronic control systems and a good understanding of contracting procedures relative to such areas as project correspondence, documentation, timely notice of issues, site reporting, subcontract negotiation, and subcontract administration.
