Your mission

The mission of the Power Solutions Sales Engineer is to profitably grow the orders and sales numbers for the Power Solutions direct business activity code by acting as a V2 Sales Champion, supporting Schneider V1 sales teams, and acting as an opportunity leader where required. The critical mission of the role is to secure orders and sales growth by driving the total sales process from lead identification/generation through to close. The post holder will work closely with colleagues in regional sales teams across Partner, Buildings and Services to grow our customer base through technical and solutions sales. A key part of the role is to ensure that we delight our customers throughout the sales process.

Your responsibilities

·Actively promote the Power Solutions offers (PME, PSE, PCMD, metering, services) with the target customer base, gaining orders, specification and standardisation.
·Define technical requirements for customers and produce cost effective and deliverable solutions
·Establish and implement a dynamic sales plan, following where appropriate established Schneider processes
·Successfully identify the critical success factors and needs of the customers - capture these and translate into tan offer or solution and capture an order from the customer
·Work closely with internal colleagues in all areas including Transactional regional teams, marketing, Buildings regional teams, services and internal sales to ensure cross BU collaboration and that you have a strong network of V1's to grow pipeline
·Deep offer and application knowledge
·Provide all relevant information in an accurate and timely manner, following Schneider processes where applicable
·Manage and maintain customer relationships to develop profitable lifetime relationships with customers
·Ensure that customer complaints and issues are managed to create delighted customers
·Work closely with the bid team
