Region Crisis Manager (EMEA)

The Region Crisis Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Corporate Crisis Management program throughout the EMEA Region. Key aspects of the role include developing the program, conducting training and the provision of support to the business in the event of a crisis. Responsibilities include:

· Provide subject matter expertise, supporting senior leadership and business areas across the group in the development of the crisis management capability.
· Implement command, control, communication and situational awareness processes during crisis management response.
· Administer employee training, preparedness and exercise programs across the group using existing technologies such as webinars, etc. to reach remote locations and expand the program’s impact
· Manage the crisis management training and exercise schedule.
- Develop metrics for monitoring and recording capability development
· Support the Head of Incident and Response in developing an education and awareness program that captures attention, and promotes awareness of the discipline
· Benchmark best practice for incident to crisis management development and execution across the organization.
· Deliver interactive, immersive and realistic briefings, training and exercising to develop, rehearse and test incident to crisis response capability.
· Support the implementation and uptake of the group wide mass notification system.
· Take proactive steps to prepare the business for a Crisis
· Develop partnerships with critical partners and vendors


· Educated to Degree level.
· Strong understanding of crisis management and incident response.
· Proven record of successful management of crises.
· Excellent level of knowledge about security risks, in all their forms, across the EMEA region.
· Strong problem solver by analyzing and understanding issues problems or challenge and developing solutions to them
· Has the proven ability to think outside of the box, challenge industry norms and adapt quickly to evolving requirements
· Excellent oral and written communication capabilities and the ability to communicate incident to crisis management issues and events to technical as well as non-technical audiences


Regional knowledge
Understanding of Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Resiliency Planning
Existing network across the Region.
Retail / internet services experience
Ex military / security / law enforcement experience
Previous Corporate Experience in a similar position.
