An opportunity exists for two individuals to join our site based team in support of a major programme of work for the MoD.
AECOM is currently negotiating the next phase of the UK DIO contract and, once the negotiations have been completed, we will be looking for staff to fill a large number of interesting and challenging roles. It is anticipated that we will be recruiting for several staff for the roles. The roles will be across three locations so there will be some flexibility and in some cases there might well be a chance to work from home for part of the week. The approximate start and end dates is still to be confirmed, but we are looking for a mixture or full time employee’s and fix term contracts(6-18 months)

Previous experience working in the defence market is not a pre-requisite in the vast majority of cases.
Security Clearance will be required, so you will currently possess or be willing to go through the process of securing.

Support the HD-SD Capital Works in the development of an SD Centre of Excellence (CoE) accountable for identifying/defining, coordinating and implementing all necessary initiatives to optimize SD project delivery performance.

To include:

a P3M based portfolio organisation for Minor Works

structured reporting processes and templates for monthly/annual reports that track and report variance to baseline Control totals

Develop, document, and implement a disciplined Change Control process for maintaining the CDEL Budget Baseline

Develop monthly performance reports consistent with agreed reporting templates

Lead development of a procurement strategy approach and Plan

Desired Experience:

P3M portfolio development experience

Report writing skills to meet demands of reporting contract deliverables to governing authority

Experience of working within complex organisational structures requiring on occasion diplomatic handling skills

Good verbal and written communication skills

Professional Qualified – ideally Project Management/ Construction/Engineering/Quantity Surveying Degree
Chartered Status with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or other equivalent institution
