Associate Director - Planning & Administration, ESFD

Purpose:
· To conduct / coordinate various business planning activities for the division
· To support the department head in managerial issues

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
1) To conduct business planning, budgeting, performance monitoring (profit, expense, asset etc.), risk management (portfolio, credit, operation), Head Office reporting
2) To provide managerial information and divisional performance to GM and JGM
3) To support other departments on above mentioned 1), especially for setting up their new business strategies, and providing necessary information on their customer services or risk management
4) To find solutions and create policies & procedures in order to implement effective/efficient business operation in the division.
5) To liase with Head Office or other divisions for the various reporting on regulatory inspections (UKFCA/PRA, JFSA, BOJ etc.)
6) Supervise booking administration in the division
Other necessary works requested by the department head

Knowledge & Skills:
· Finance and Banking knowledge – essential
· Advanced computing skills in MS Excel (reference formulas, pivot tables), data reconciliations and analysis- essential
· Advanced data processing skills in MS Access - essential
· Other general computer skills (MS PowerPoint /MS Word) – essential
· Planning and coordination skill – desirable
· Credit analysis skill – desirable
· Industrial / Business research skills –desirable
· Japanese language - desirable
