Partner Manager - New SOA Program

Are you ready to help Amazon build a fast-growing business? As a Partner Manager you will be responsible for delivering new business growth across Amazon’s third party merchants.

We are looking for a bright and ambitious individual to join our new team as a Partner Manager. Working within one of the fastest growing areas of Amazon you will recruit the third party merchants to launch a new Marketplace business within the UK. Given this is a new team, you will also play a pivotal role in building out the responsibilities, processes and capabilities required to ensure the team successfully delivers on its goals. This is a unique opportunity to influence a new business from the ground up and to grow a new segment of the Amazon portfolio.

To deliver on this role you will have to:
· Identify, prioritise, onboard and manage key high potential Sellers to join our Platform.
· Act as a business advisor to the highest potential Sellers providing insights and advice on how they can improve their Amazon marketplace business
· Lead the recruitment of our strategic Sellers and own the annual plan to expand our strategic Seller business
· Manage a direct report in the team, for whom you shall be responsible e.g. making sure she/he is prepared to work towards hitting targets, and enabling her/his personal development.
· Work closely with key Marketplace Business owners across the UK, in DE and Seattle to implement new processes and projects
· Develop and report on key performance indicators for your team’s portfolio of Sellers, undertaking deep-dive analysis into root causes of performance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· The ability to use commercial skills to recruit and account manage high potential Sellers with material financial targets
· Capable of driving the delivery of a strategic project that has a substantial financial impact on the business.
· The ability to think strategically and to drive the detailed execution of specific initiatives
· Strong analytical skills with the ability and appetite to get deep into the data when required (intermediate Excel skills)
· Excellent consultative communication skills
· Able to work autonomously and in a team with effective prioritisation and multi-tasking
· Passionate about online businesses, e-commerce and sales

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong people management skills
· Experience developing and building new relationships and driving growth with existing customers/partners
· Experience in Sales, Consulting or Account Management (buying, selling, product management or business development)
· Experience in sales or ecommerce is advantageous but not essential
· Experience of databases and CRM tools is advantageous but not essential.
