Account Manager - Sales Shafts Europe

The Account Manager - Sales Shafts Europe - is driving the growth at our accounts securing customer loyalty and develop and execute key account plans to support our Off-Highway Business growth in Europe and India. This position reports directly to the Sales Director Shafts Europe.

The job location says Bruneck, but other work locations across Europe will also be possible and can be discussed individually.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain existing business and develop Sales Opportunities within Europe and India

• Act as lead customer contact within sales area and lead the relationship management to build partnership with our accounts

• Manage the accounts and develop growth plan by working with all internal functions

• Sell complete GKN Off-Highway Powertrain product range with focus on shafts

• Recommend product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or products, packaging and service changes; surveying trends and tracking competitors

• Identify and manage sales capture plan and close the opportunity to support the current year and long-term growth Goals

• Understand the customer strategy and expectations and submit information and recommendations to the related internal functions

• Lead the customer forecast improvement and support on the account receivable

• Lead and facilitate project progress by leading the key account plan review process with a cross-functional team

• Provide weekly and monthly reports according to the GKN requests including but not limited all customer visits and activities, competitors, industry and market related Information

• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading personal publications and maintaining personal networks
Qualifications / Experience / Skills
• 5+ years Sales experience with Technical and Engineering background; Sales experience in Off-Highway Markets such as agriculture is mandatory

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and functional individuals in a global organization. Good negotiations and communications skills

• Self-motivated and can work under limited supervision; Driven individual with high moral standards

• Strong key Accounts management skills

• Ability to handle complex business processes

• Strategic, creative thinking and value proposition development

• Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationship with customers, internal cross-functions and diverse personalities

• Ability to establish credibility and be decisive but able to recognize and support the customer and organizations preferences and priorities

• Results orientated with the ability to balance other customer needs and company targets

• Tactual, mature, flexible

• Fluent in written and spoken German, Italian and English

• Adapt to frequent travelling

• Proficient in MS Office applications

• Bachelor degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or Engineering preferred
