Mechanical Engineer in Manchester

Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit Intermediate through to Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineers to join our established team in Manchester.

In particular we are looking to secure engineers with experience in automated warehousing and distribution buildings, Data Centres and industrial type facilities

The main duties for all levels will design of mechanical building services schemes and installations to current codes and design practices The more junior roles will work under supervision of a more experienced engineer whilst the more senior roles will be require to supervise junior engineers as required. Local and Overseas travel can be expected

Minimum Requirements

Candidates for all positions should be accomplished users of some of the following software; AutoCAD, Hevacomp, , Cymap, Revit, IES, or TAS

Preferred Qualifications

We are ideally seeking candidates with a minimum of 6 years building services experience, for Senior roles. Applicants for the Senior positions should ideally be Charted Engineers or working towards charted status. All applicants will already be educated to degree level with a minimum of a BEng in a CIBSE approved course. Alternatively candidates with Uptime Institute qualifications would also be welcomed. Incorporated engineers with solid industry experience will also be considered
