Within Schneider Electric, Energy Supply and Sustainability (ESS) operate as a distinct global business group helping its clients to reduce their energy spend. ESS acts as a global independent consultancy with over 2,000 experts from energy supply, sustainability and resource efficiency managing over €30bn in energy spend, working with over 6,000 clients and 300,000 managed sites.



The UK & Ireland region is a significant part of the global ESS business footprint, with over 350 experts from energy supply, sustainability and resource efficiency managing over £2.25bn in energy spend, working with over 1,100 clients and 41,000 managed sites. ESS UK & Ireland currently.

We are currently recruiting for a Data Acquisition & Quality Team based in our Dunfermline office. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team in a challenging and rewarding role within Schneider Electric’s Data Acquisition & Quality department. An evolving role that can be expanded over time to allow for continued development and increased responsibility within our dynamic and interesting organisation.

Role overview:
This role is focused on successful delivery of the following five key functions:

Management of individual or team based projects
Co-ordinating the implementation of clients into Schneider Electric’s systems
Delivering Schneider Electric’s Payment Support service
Delivering Schneider Electric’s Open / Close service
Co-ordination of Schneider Electric’s Data Collection service

Your mission:
Project management of individual and / or team based projects, including IT based enhancements, internal process optimisation and development of Schneider Electric Data Operation deliverables
Co-ordinate the implementation of new clients into Schneider Electric systems and services
Frequent and highly professional liaison with internal and external stakeholders
Receive and respond to supplier and client queries, including payment and credit control queries in relation to Schneider Electric’s Payment Support service
Liaison with utility suppliers to ensure receipt and correct allocation of payments from Schneider Electric clients
Preparing accurate and timely payment file extracts and associated reporting
Receive and process site Open / Close requests from clients to prescribed timescales
Commitment and dedication to ensuring all services are provided and all queries resolved in accordance with Service Level Agreements
Co-ordination of invoice collection activity, including frequent liaison with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders
Responsibility for ensuring all team deliverables are consistently delivered and provided to the highest standard
Assisting with core Data Team activities as and when required
Qualifications

About you:
Experience of MS Office applications; and essentially advanced level MS-Excel
Strong IT skillset, including data manipulation experience would be a strong advantage
Experience in team or individual project ownership and management
Exemplary communication skills – verbal and written; fluency in other languages is an advantage
Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines with excellent time management skills and an ability to prioritise and balance personal workloads
Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a dedicated team
Excellent standards of reliability and accountability
“Can-do” and positive attitude to challenges and opportunities, willingness to work flexible hours if needed
Attention to detail and an excellent quality focus is a critical requirement
