Prototype and Test Coordinator (f/m) for Hybrid & eDrive

Role Purpose
The growing interest of OEMs in Hybrid and eDrive Technology and the increasing number of application programmes requires additional resources in the Hybrid and eDrive GPPC. For a time critical global application programme we are looking for a Prototype and Test Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
Order prototypes and track the manufacturing or buyinig process

Ensure quality of prototypes and the related documentation

Preparation of test and validation plans to ensure the specified product characteristics

Preparation of prototype documentation and usage restrictions. Agreement of those with internal and external customers. Align and document FUSI and Product Safety related tests.

Creation of test requests

Support of the programme engineering manager for planning and tracking of prototypes and test cost. Preparation and follow up of the related time plans

Close collaboration with the system engineer and the sub system engineers as well as with the other involved departments for the preparation and agreement of test specifications.

Optimisation of test sequences to reduce the number of specimens and shorten the time frame

Analysis and correlation of test results with simulation data and results of vehicle testing

Support of system- and design FMEA

Usage of systematic methods (DFSS, APQP) to ensure quality

Statistical analysis of test results and verification agains the specification

Support and participation in internal and external customer and project meetings and preparation of the required presentations.

Qualifications / Experience / Skills
Degree in mechanical, mechatronic or vehicle engineering

Minimum of three years professional experience in the field of system- or component development.

Ideally experience with specification and validation of mechatronic systems (eDrive modules or systems)

Knowledge of test procedures and standards

Good communication skills and experience in global project teams

Fluent English

Good skills with Microsoft Office Products
