Partner Launch Manager - Content Operations

Amazon Video is fast becoming one of the major global players in digital entertainment. We are changing the way millions of customers enjoy movies and TV shows. Amazon Original shows, offered as part of a Prime subscription, have now won Emmys, Golden Globes and a BAFTA. Amazon Video also offers new release movies for rent or purchase and now additional subscriptions through Amazon Channels. Amazon Channels, launched in the UK & DE in May 2017, is a new and fast-growing area, offering well-known entertainment channels such as Discovery, Eurosport, ITV & MGM on the Amazon Video platform, without the need for a cable or satellite subscription.
We are seeking a Partner Launch Manager to manage new external partner launches for the new Amazon Channels business. The core mission of the Partner Launch Team is to ingest content from our partner studios and networks, manage it through the publishing process, and ensure it makes it way to the site on-time and in pristine condition in the format and offers necessary to support our rapidly expanding service. In addition to continuously driving and improving execution of this core mission, the Partner Launch Team will work closely with his or her cross-functional counterparts in engineering, content acquisition, vendor management, product management, finance, and merchandising to ensure the team and systems are supporting the broader growth and customer oriented goals of the team.

Key activities include:

· Establish goals, plans and related metrics, track progress, and manage through obstacles to achieve program objectives
· Create reporting and dashboards for key metrics to illustrate progress against goals to support team activities and report to management on weekly/monthly basis
· Work cross functionally with the Amazon Video content licensing, product management, engineering, merchandising and finance teams to document and define initiatives and drive them through execution


· Bachelors degree is required
· Professional experience in the operations, digital operations, and program management space
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to work with business owners to define key business questions and to build data sets that answer those questions
· Experience working with external partners and stakeholders to meet deliverable requirements
· Demonstrated success in achieving aggressive short, medium and long-term goals
· Strong leader who can prioritize well and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization with a proven ability to influence others
· Demonstrated bias for action with strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
· Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with technical employees


· Experience and understanding of digital media and/or digital video supply chain desired
· A passion for digital media and digital video.
