Our Infrastructure business line is one of our key growth areas, servicing a range of clients including High Speed 2, Network Rail, Environment Agency, Highways England, Frontier Water companies and Cross Rail. As part of our cost management function you will be primarily associated with supporting programme strategy as part of a wider programme controls function.

• Assist in the production of baseline estimates and also the procurement process in assessing tender returns.

• Assess the impact of scope change during the delivery / construction phase.

• Develop processes for estimates of differing accuracies using estimating systems such as Cost OS and Cost X, RIB.

• Capable of undertaking reviews of costs and estimates to develop an effective cost benchmark process and database.

• Develop best practices for performing complex estimates and develop the supporting cost management process and procedures.

• Develop and implement BIM process for estimating and cost management.

• Attend client meetings.

Minimum Requirements

• Background in programme controls.

• Technical expert in cost management and strong understanding of NEC Contract Administration.

• Familiarity of NR Contracts.

• Appreciation of controls systems and production of reporting outputs, @Risk, P6, Baseline change control, dashboard production

• Understanding of the DfT ECAM process, NR GRIP process and the importance of demonstrating efficiency, value for money within regulated environments.

• Experience of contract management systems such as A-Site, CEMAR, eB, Aconex and other collaboration technologies.

• Understand SACR, Review Point and Prep expectations.

• Client facing and able to work in co-located environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• A comprehensive understanding of the construction industry across a wide range of disciplines and sectors, in particular infrastructure, civil's, railways or engineering construction.

• Expertise in Aires (PRISM).
