Service Support Assistant

Summary: This is a unique and exciting opportunity to create and help shape a new front line mental health service covering a diverse student population. We are seeking to recruit a Service Support Assistant to provide Reception support in the delivery of a new triage service. This will offer students at the University of Sheffield a gateway to the most appropriate support intervention. You will play a key role in supporting triage practitioners whilst providing an efficient and empathetic role in responding to student booking enquiries.

This will also involve signposting areas of support both internal and external to the University. You will have experience of working on the frontline of a medical or mental health Reception point, being able to manage customers who may have complex needs or present in distress. You will oversee and maintain an electronic diary system to ensure the smooth running of complex appointment system.
